What's in the Update?

New Update: Tentacular Spectacular!

Flo has gone out of her way to get some new props for the studio, and they're straight up out-of-this-world! You'll also see some brand new fetishes, such as blindfolding and pregnancy! There's something in the new update for everyone with several of your favorite characters making a reappearance. Make sure you check this out if you're a fan of Snapfap!

We've also made some major changes to how player data is loaded and saved. We are switching from a look-forward approach to a more comprehensive recursive system for checking player files. See more information on that below!

Minor Updates

Bug Fixes & Adjustments

We’re constantly tweaking the game’s engine and features - below you’ll find minor changes to UI, code, and more.

• Message Requirement / Load System
  • The message requirement system has been overhauled. 
    • Whereas previously we used a look-forward approach to determine the next message from the currently selected message, we’ve now switched to a recursive search. Loading messages is now far more efficient and less prone to sequencing bugs in the future. Resetting the game should now be much faster. If you experience any problems loading previous messages in this update, please let us know.
      
    • **Developer's Note: We changed the save/load infrastructure similarly last week in our other game, OnlyMods, which has seemingly worked well. Since we're still testing, we'd love your feedback for Snapfap, too!

• Title Screen UI
  • Fixed spacing issues on some devices
  • Fixed logo image sizes
  • Fixed title image compression sizes

• Messages
  • Modified text speed to be quicker overall
    • This is a subjective change, so let us know if things are still too fast or too slow. As always, you can change text speed to your liking from the settings menu
• Settings
  • Minor color adjustments for better contrast and visibility
  • UI now auto-scales on startup for Windows devices.
    • **Developer's Note: This process is ignored for Web, Android, and iOS devices, but if you believe it should be enabled, let us know. We can't see a use for this yet.
